Title: Larrivee Comparison Video Links
Post by: MacNichol on July 27, 2009, 04:39:46 PM
I've noticed a large number of folks asking for advice on choosing between an OM and an L, or an L and a dreadnought. Here are some links to some video comparisons with various models side-by-side, with the same scale and chords.

Great videos.  These will be very helpful to people trying to decide which Larrivee to get. Awesome idea.

Great idea...truly in the Forum spirit.
I have to ask...same strings (mftr and gauge) on all three?

The strings were Cleartone, most likely they were all lights (longer scales may have mediums), that's usually what they come set up with.  The next phase will be to do a series with the on board pickup. :nana_guitar

Does anyone have a specific request as to style for the next series of Larrivee comparison videos with the pick-up?  Our friends at the carbon guitar forum (www.carbonguitar.com) have requested more strumming this time around.  I'm thinking more traditional (Folk) strumming.  Any thoughts?

Thank you

Justin
