I have gone from a Larrivee O9 to a OOO to a OO (Northwood) to a Larrivee P-05 and now have a Woolson LP double top on the way. The short scale 24" is what is best for me. In all honesty, I'm a songwriter/performer and not what I would call a "real" guitarist. I'm going to sell the R80 OO-12 Northwood. It's a 24.9" scale and 1 7/8" nut. It's simply too nice not to be in the hands of a player. It's in the same near mint condition as when I bought it, with the exception that it has indeed opened up. It has a Fishman Infinity pick-up installed (which I don't prefer) that will be removed by Joe Glazer (top Nashville luthier) next week with a new bone nut and end-pin installed.
I am asking $2600 with a custom Ameritage case or $3000 with a brand new custom deluxe Calton case (red) which is 3 months old and never out of the house. I will split shipping/insurance/paypal fees. I'm sorry that I can't post pics at this time because my wife is in L.A. until next week and she's my computer brain. You can see it at this link where I purchased it. http://www.paramountguitars.net/guitars_Sub_NorthwoodOOused.htm
I fixed the link. thanks.
