How do you describe the shape of the neck of a Larrivee? If some are different, I'm thinking specifically of the OM-03R. I'm trying to describe the neck of my Larrivee to someone and he's asking if it is a "C" or a "D" or what.

All I know is I like the neck. It's not as thin as a Taylor, to me, but not chunky. I'm not crazy about the flat fingerboard, but that's another matter.  :smile:

The Larrivee neck profile and satin finish is what first drew me in.  It's not quite uniform, since I've played some L's that felt like a really thin "smile" outline (nice, to me) and others which were a rather chunky D profile

Overall, seems to me that most of the Larrivee's I've played are pretty shallow in profile.  Don't feel like a C or a D, but maybe more of a parenthesis turned on its side

The Larrivee neck profile compares very closely to my Robert Cray Stratocaster, which is a Fender vintage 60's 'C' shape, which is more rounded than the 'Modern C' Fender uses today on their Standards. It is also very similar to a Les Paul I just sold. I would definitely call it a 'C' shape.
