What do you guys think of Baden guitars?
david
I've played a couple of Badens @ Trinity Guitars and they are nice guitars for the money. I believe the founder of the company worked for Taylor for many years and I like the dreadnought design they have. My son is not moved by their dread design although he does like the A body and they have some cool wood combinations. If you go to Baden's web site, you can hear some clips (but you probably already did that).
I had a chance a year ago to take a D and an A home.At that time I thought they where over priced,no attention to detail or craftmanship.I found the tone bland and factory playability horrid.I never touch them after that.I don't know if the problems I saw and told the rep where ever taken care of.Then again for the money I've seen MUCH better guitars.
Sorry back to the cave I go...........
Sorry, no, but there are brands that made me smile more:
www.furch.cz/eng/aktuality.php (with a hard ch - as in "I say Jeeves, pass me my guitar." "What, the Furch Sir?" Great guitars, and their newish "Stonebridge" OOM looks good on youtube).
www.cuntz-guitars.de/en (no comment, but I think I would insist on a blank headstock).

Have the d style rosewood with the Aura.....Has a Gibson slope shouldered feel and nice tones ....very playable. I think they are a bit over priced at retail.....however on the used market I have seen some great values.
