For starters, here's a link to a thread I put up about a month after I received this instrument...it took me all weekend last weekend to decide that my Goodall RGC was better than this one (enough to justify being almost 3 times the cost!)

I think this is a 2001 model.   When you open the case, you will think it's new, but really close inspection will reveal a few minor cosmetic flaws.

First, it appears that (probably at the factory) the instrument was bumped on the lower bout near the binding.  There is a repair along the binding and a finish check UNDER the new finish.   The new finish is completely smooth everywhere....no overspray lines anywhere, but there is an area (maybe 1/8") that's not quite as glossy around the bridge which could probably be cleaned up a little with a mild abrasive if you were so inclined.

There is also a really faint light area (like a tan line from a pickguard that's been removed) around the area that was refinished when you turn it into the light just right.....I'll post a pic of this, but realize I had to really work to get it to show....contrasted and sharpened in photoshop.   Over time this will certainly dissapear.

There are two minor, pencil tip dings in the top (about 1mm each)  Other than that, there are no marks anywhere on this instrument.

VERY little fretwear....I've installed a Colosi bone saddle and dialed the setup in.....plays like a dream.  The Sitka top is quite dark and the grain is relatively wide, which I believe is part of the reason it sounds so incredible.  I've also added strap buttons on the treble side of the neck heel and the tail.

The only other thing to mention is that it has the "epedemic" Larrivee finish bubbling around the tuner posts....you can see this in the picture of the headstock.....this was the reason for the additional price reduction, I had forgotten about this, it' so common on these guitars.

The case is original and in great shape.

As you will find by reading the linked thread above, this is by far the best Larrivee I've had here out of probably 35-40.   The only reason I'm letting this go is that my multi-year search of a Goodall I like has finally ended and I need to let something go.   I need to sell this outright to recoup the costs, so no trades please.

Price is 975 and actual shipping to the lower 48.   Add 20 for Paypal and I'll eat the rest.  As always, will ship polished up, fingerboard and bridge freshly cleaned and conditioned, and a new set of D'addario EJ16's installed....ready to go!

Here are a few more.....I forgot to mention a couple things.....this is a gloss neck model, and also there are some spots inside the body...either something dripped in there, or natural marks in the rosewood.  I just believe in full disclosure.
