Title: Larrivee Customer Service
Post by: GA-ME on July 21, 2008, 02:24:41 PM
Y'all know I've busted Larrivee's figurative B**LLS over the service I recieved several months ago in regards to the neck angle of my 000-60. The 000's A tuning machine button is cracking and  the metal shaft is starting to poke through, so I called to see what they'd do about it. Well, if I'm gonna complain about the bad treatment, I feel obligated to also report the good. Luke took the serial number of the guitar and my shipping info then said they would send a new left side plate. I told him if they had just the single button/shaft that would be fine with me as the worm gears are fine and he told me he'd send the stuff right out. So there, proper, no hassle customer service, which I greatly appreciate.

Well, got my package from Larrivee today and was pleasantly surprised. They sent me a whole new set of slot head tuners which look to be an upgrade from the stock ones on the guitar. They are nicely engraved on the plates where as the originals were just flat steel and these buttons look to be real ebony rather than plastic. Has Larrivee upgraded the Traditional Series tuners lately? So, the net result here is, I received the great service everyone speaks about in regards to Larrivee!

Ive never heard of bad service from Larrivees customer service !  It seems they go out of their way- as long as its a legitamate problem they take care of it . now i wish i could say that about Fender, Guild and a few other companies who will tie you up for months before they will even talk to you !
