Here are some pics of my D-03 "Silver Oak" that I have been promising for a few weeks...a little slow, sorry .

I did my best to capture the figure of this beautiful lacewood.  I hope Larrivee makes some more instruments with this wood; the sound is really exceptional, especially for a dread.  What jumps out at me when I play it is the bass.  An SD made with this stuff would be a beast!  Enjoy the pics!

The rosewood binding is out of the ordinary for a Larrivee but looks out of this world.  Very pretty...I'd love to try it!

Congrats jwb.   :nice guitar:

Thanks Denis!  I have some more pics to post.  She's definitely beautiful in every way. You come down to Florida, you've got a place to stay with your family and you can play it all you want, bro.

I'm headed to Nazareth, PA to visit Peter and pick up my now complete om03mt "fish guitar".  I'm pumped.  That's the end of this month on July 30.  I'm staying with him and Josephine for a night or two.  They are good people.  Pete and I have become good friends during the progress of my om, and we'll be doing more business in the near future.  His new shop is well on it's way to success, and I want to see it become more successful and a very profitable undertaking.  We have some ideas about how to make it take off, and I'm prepared to help him do it.  Keep those new videos coming out.  One day I may be able to play 1/2 as good as you from watching those videos!  I'm always humbled by your playing.  Keep it up!

Justin

Hey jwb, I just got a d03so too.  Aweome.

Stratokatsu is looking for advice on the sound of silver at at the posting Topic: What Does Silverwood Sound Like?, it's for the L model, but if you have any thoughts, he (gender assumption) would probably appreciate it.

Be well
