Title: Huss & dalton
Post by: JohnM2001 on April 27, 2008, 11:52:47 AM
If I was looking for a nice boutique dread, I surely would have snatched this one up. The final price of $1826 seems exceeedingly reasonable for an Adi-topped boutique mahogany dread.  Betcha sounds lovely. but calling it a "Collings D1A copy" seems cheesy to me.

See the auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/Huss-Dalton-TDM-Custom-Adirondack-Collings-D1A-Copy_W0QQitemZ220225751562QQihZ012QQcategoryZ2385QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

I've played a TDM with Adirondack sunburst top, it was one of the best dreads I've played. The seller sounds a little weird with the Collings talk though.

I have a H&D D-RH and it is incredible!  I could have had a Collings, but after I played mine....NO WAY!!!

Yep, they are both incredible guitars.
