I see in the literature Ultrasound has a product that appears equivalent to the Baggs para DI. It think it's a relativly new product, new to me anyway.
Anybody tried it out yet?
After reading the Ultrasound amp posts earlier this week, I have the impression this is a company with solid business practices to accompany solid product quality. Wow, what a combination.
I would expect that character to carry over to this DI product and would appreciate hearing from members on this.

Boo, I would have to agree with you on this one... Ultrasound amps sound great. John Standefer www.praiseguitar.com who won the 2002 fingerstyle championship plays on an ultrasound amp and they are very true to the "acoustic sound". I think that they would get the DI right too...
Doc....... tell us about this... ;)
