Wow! Absolutely gorgeous! I love the headstock inlay!
ST,
That's beautiful--obviously! The inlay looks flawless. Please alllow me to ask: By "us" in your above statement, are you referring to yourself, or quoting from someone else?
Hi blued03r,
I'm sorry, I meant to (and have now added) credit for those quotes to Luke at Larrivée.

That's too bad...I was hoping that you were an "inside source" and I blew your cover! :bgrin: Oh, well! Keep that guitar forever, it's quite nice! :cheers
Very, very :nice guitar:
Looking at the Specifications Comparisons page on the Larrivee site (http://www.larrivee.com/3_products/compare.html) this
C-10BZ looks to be about the same as an
Quote
L - Larrivee Body
Lower Bout · 16"
Upper Bout · 11.625"
Waist · 10.25"
Depth · 4.75"
Overall Length · 40.75"
Scale Length · 25.5"
PS - I apologize for having all the pictures on weird angles. This was just me trying to avoid flash flare and goofy reflections. When the weather gets better I may take the Guitar out and do some shots in natural light.
Does anybody know what the "C" stands for in C-10BZ?
Thank you.
wait is this yours? you might be the owner of one of the coolest larrivees ever.. congrats

Yep - got it new about ten years ago. Haven't played it much because it doesn't have a pickup in it, but I'm pondering that now (http://www.larriveeforum.com/smf/index.php?topic=20004.msg178177#msg178177) and when I decide which pickup system to use, I'm going to start playing it out.

Wow
What a jewell.
Very, very, very :nice guitar:
That is a beautiful guitar. :nice guitar:
By the way the "C" stands for L body CUTAWAY. Now adays they use LV to signify the Ventian cutaway they now use instead of the Florentine cutaway that yours has.
These are very special guitars. I was lucky enough to also find one a few years ago. The workmanship, design, and sound are impressive.
I use a Baggs iMix in a C09Walnut, and it is all I could want in a pickup.

Hi Randy,
I think it has been your C-10B that I have admired many times on http://randyrick.us . Is that right?
Did you put a pickup in yours?
The "C" is a Florentine cutaway (comes to a point), as opposed to the "V", which is a Venetian cutaway (non-pointy). When Larrivee designates a "C" model, they replace the "L" with the "C". In the Venetian cutaways, they add the "V" to the "L". Not sure why.
Stunning guitar by the way :+1:

Thanks. yes.
No I don't have a pickup in it. However I agree with your choice of an iMix.
Absolutely beautiful!
:thumbsup
Congrats on a stunning guitar. I relate L body, florentine cutaways and tasteful inlay work all to Larrivee Guitars. You have it all in this one. The BRW is just icing on the cake.
Is that Stevie Nicks? :winkin: "mirror in the sky.... a landslide brought me down"
