:doh I'll be ok
Been watching that one hoping some one here would get it for a song. I have a new one on order so I can't bid. Heck for that price it would make a nice campfire guitar.
U. S. only .... :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:
It went for a good price, not a GREAT price. I would have bid on it, if it was rosewood.

I feel your pain, same issue I've dealt with time and time again. If I was allowed to bid, they would have got $75 more for that parlor.
I live in Canada (Ottawa) but only 60 minutes from Ogdensburg NY. And Ogdensburg, like most places, has a UPS Store. So I have all of my American purchases sent there; to " me" c/o UPS Store, Ogdensburg..." I call UPS when I think things have arrived and go pick them up. On the way back I show customs my paypal receipt, pay the tax (with no brokerage fees, as I am the broker) and drive home. It costs me $5 to have a delivery sent to the UPS Store; pretty small brokerage charges. UPS Store is now a confirmed paypal address for me. US Customs no longer bats an eye when I say I'm just visiting for 15 minutes. Canadian customs on the way back takes about the same time. Just remember to bring a receipt for Canadian customs.
I love your idea, thanks for the tip. As I'm in Toronto, I will set up a similar situation in Rochester, N.Y. should the need arise.

I watched this auction and did not bid. I consider this a successful GAS test which I passed (this time). With 5 Larrivees currently, I had to pass... :crying:
Self-flagellation to commence shortly... I want a parlour!
Guess I'll have to somehow find consolation in the L-05MT I recently acquired... What a SWEET guitar! Larrivee rocks.
A cheep parlor? That's for the birds.
