I have no idea what's coming down the pipeline. Do any of you?
A double cutaway 3/4 size parlor and a Dread with a cup holder in the side.
Please, tell me it's gonna be a Slot Head all Hog cup holder.
I'm really hoping they'll start selling the cutaways themselves too. You know, like Dunkin' Donuts did with the donut holes :donut :donut2
I don't think that hole is for holding a cup. Its a Cree/style soundhole! ;-)
One can hope for a custom shop version 2.0 announcement... now is about the time the rumors last spring had it becoming reality....
and the the figured oak L's seen here earlier should make a showing.
the custom shop would take care of everything i wish for.... a red sitka over madi LSV19 with flamed koa binding....
;-)

Ta,

Thanks! I missed that one. They look cherry. Should be very bluesy, I know that oak was used on some of the old Stellas and this guy www.fraulini.com has been using it on his modern takes on the old ladder-braced guitars.

I just read in the business section of the Montreal Gazette that Godin is planning a new electric archtop called the 5th Avenue. It will sell for about $500. Wouldn't we like to see a Larrivee archtop?

Harmonicas maybe?? :laughin:
C,mon Dave. give a a bigger hint. Don't make me come out there!!! :laughin:
How about 12 fretters in the 03 series???? 000-03? SD-03? Would that be sweet or what! That or the return of the satin finish parlors!

Actually, I saw them working on some of them when I was at the factory a little over a year ago. Matthew said they'd release them when they got it the way they wanted it.
A Larrivee acoustic archtop - that would be too sweeeeet! They could offer one purely acoustic, another with a p/u built in. Could they pull off an all-hog archtop??? :roll
interesting that Oak guitar............................i've played one and Oak is a killer tonewood. Of course i love maple and Walnut as well. all the stuff many of you don't want.
Can't wait for next years used guitars!
