Up for sale and/or trade is my Larrivee OMV-70. Only 2 ever built, I guess that makes it a rare bird. I bought it new the end of February 2007. This guitar is in mint condition. Only played for a couple hours. The only signs of play are a few very light pick marks on the pick guard and a very light scuff on the binding at the lower bout. The guitar lives in my humidified display case and no smoking. Larrivee arch-top case in new condition included.
The 70 Series was an idea of Jean Larrivee for a possible new model that would be upgraded from the 60 Series. Jean built 2 of each body style in preparation for a future NAMM Show. For now, the new model has been tabled. The guitars were at Larrivee until they were sent out for sale February 2007. These guitars have Rosewood binding instead of the standard Maple, and also have upgraded open back engraved bronze machine heads and ivoroid buttons.
I am too paranoid of damaging or even scratching the guitar to enjoy it. Between me, the dog, the cat, the kids and the grandbaby in a walker I can't enjoy it. I want something I will play, not just to look at.
This guitar listed for $3488.00 and my asking price is $1800 $1725.00 plus actual shipping cost and 3% for Paypal I will split the fees for Paypal. Lets talk if you have any interest or questions. Will consider trades. Looking for L-03 body and 09 Parlor. I have bought and sold several guitars to forum members in the past and have 100% Ebay feedback.

Sure you're not. Those are great pics!
Thanks. She is a beautiful guitar and she sounds better than she looks. :beer
I don't want to send this special guitar to eBay. This one should stay here in the family. Anyone have ANYTHING interesting to trade.
LETS MAKE A DEAL
Bump for a price reduction.
Will consider all trades.
Thanks,
Wade
:nice guitar:
I could trade the D-03R that I just glossed, with cash!
Might you know if that has an Adirondack top? Pretty wide grained sitka if it doesn't.....
If I'm going to get an 03 it would need to be something 1 3/4 inch nut . Ideally, I would like to find a L-03R, just like you are looking for :bgrin:. Thanks for the offer. By the way, you did a nice polish job on the D.
As far as I know the this is a sitka spruce top.
Wade
