Why are you getting rid of a great guitar so quick?

well its kind of a long story but the jist of it is 1. If I sold it I would be helping a really good friend out with some pretty steep medical bills. 2.After playing it for a couple weeks OM sized guitars are not really for me. I am more of a percussive/strummer type player and am looking for a Dred sized guitar namely a Larrivee. So, I figured if I could not sell it I could at least trade for something more my style.
