Last night I became the proud owner of a beautiful LV-03E made with mahogany sides and back.

The main selling point for me was that this was the final model of this guitar made with mahogany that the store had, and would be getting.
Anyone else have this particular piece of wonderful craftsmanship? Any tips for me to keep it in tip top shape?
I've already invested in a case humidifier, and will be purchasing a room humidifier soon. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated!

Congradulations, I owned a LV-03E for a time and it was a wonderful sounding guitar.
To keep it up, let's see. Play it constantly :nana_guitar
Also, I suggest keeping a room at a good humidity level rather than a case. Do you really want to leave than guitar in it's case anyway?
do some searching and you will find plenty of threads on the subject of humidity/tem. Also check out Larrivee.com for some VERY detailed directions.

Yes, i certainly dont plan on keeping it in its case that much, however, i live in Toronto Canada, and it gets pretty cold here..
I've heard that having it in its case is usually the best thing most of the time, am I wrong?
Either way,i'm going to get a humidifier, i should have one anyway for my electric and classical guitars.
should i get a humidifier? :? I have a LV-03RE (bought it from someone on here) and love it so far.
I keep my guitar in a casse because i feel more compfortable about it not getting accidently hit in there.

It depends on the humidity level in your house or where you keep your guitar. I live in San Francisco Bayarea where humidity is around 40%-50%(ideal level for guitars) through out the year except for few weeks when I turn on my heat. However I still protect my Guitars by monitoring the humidity level with Radioshack guage($20) and my babies humidifier which is big enough to cover my apartment.
If you don't want to go out and buy a humidifier, get a ziplock bag with wet cloth or wet scotchbrite and put it in your case.
hmm, i live in the south.. so high humidity usually.
will a baby humidifier work? :laughin: i have one of those. i really don't know anything about humidifying or why it is important. also if the baby one wont work, how much are the ones that do work?
