hello, anyone of you has a martin or taylor, preferrably small body that is a short scale and 1 11/16 nutt that is for sale let me know, how much it would cost me? or maybe you can give me an advise or a recommendation which guitar that is not needed to be customized, thank you very much. Have a merry chirstmas to all.
You want advice? Buy a Larrivée! :cheers
which one? can you give me a model number if you dont mind
That might be tough in a Larrivee. The only short scale (that I'm aware of) is the parlor. I'm not sure if any of them, except maybe a few of the very first ones, had 1 11/16 nut width.

The LSV-11 is also a short scale Deb but it doesn't have a 1 11/16" nut!!! It's either 1 13/16 or 1 7/8, I can't remember which...just checked, 1 13/16"
Thanks! I thought there might be more short scale ones out there, but the nut width might be a problem. My 12-fret OM feels short scale, and has 1 11/16" nut, but the second run of them had a wider nut width.
I'm assuming you are also posting this on the Martin & Taylor Forums? ( where I'm thinking you would have a better chance of finding a Taylor or Martin for sale)
cheers & good hunting!
Dan
I have a 2006 model Martin 000-18 that I am planning to sell. This guitar is the 000 body size, 24.9-inch scale and has a 1-11/16" nut. It is totally stock except that the pickguard has been replaced by a Greven 50s pickguard. The guitar is in great condition and comes in the standard Martin case. I am asking for $1360 shipped in the continental US. You can reach me at jwsamuel at comcast.net
Within the Martin line, the 000-18 and 000-28 are the only two guitars I know of that meet your requirement of short scale and 1-11/16" nut.

thank you for all your suggestion, but i decided to order a taylor custom.
