I'm bumping this thread because I've decided to stick solely with the act of trading. I'm interested in a smaller body acoustic..preferably Larrivee..a L-03MT would be ideal. Thanks.

What does it sound like? Can you compare it to any other soundboard wood?

Hi. It's very difficult for me to describe the sound of this guitar. I've heard the "mellow" and "warm" descriptions of mahogany top guitars used quite often.. but I find the guitar to have plenty of sparkle..or lightness. There is a full bass and lower mid-range though. I noticed there are some sound clips in the Larrivee Forum section. I suggest you give it a listen and come to your own conclusion..I will say I played along with the sound clips and found the tone well represented the guitar. Thanks.
