hello friends I am very close to pulling the trigger on one of two martins. They are almost the same guitar, but one has scalloped braces.Would there really be much of a differance in volume or tone if everything else was the same just different braces?

Don't pull the trigger yet. What martin is it? Are they both new? Was it scalloped at the factory?
Have you played these guitars?
its a martin 000 28 and 000 28h both factory models, both used and both out of state for me so I will have to buy and hope I like it.
Personally, I'd get the 00028h scalloped one. If it's the same price. (if it was made recently)It will have the black ebony fretboard as oposed to the striped ebony. It will have more emphasis on the bass as well as being louder(don't know if you want that or not) Just one opion.
