Title: Godin A6 series.
Post by: whiskeyjack on June 17, 2006, 01:32:13 PM
Does anybody have an opinion on these guitars.  The nutwidth is 1 7/8" and the neck profile is apparently similar to a T5 Taylor.

Any thoughts on plugged-in tone and onboard electronics (LR Baggs transducer ribbon).

Thanks.

Excellent as a stage guitar if you play in a loud band. They have a pretty heavy "piezo" sound that needs some external EQ to sound best.

Very well built!

I'm not a big fan of electric acoustic but my pastour brother plays one and they do play great.

Thank you guys.  I'm just thinking about a guitar that I can leave on the stand in the summer without too much concern about changes in temp and humidity without buying a Rainsong or other AC $$$$ guitar.  I thought maybe something like these might do the trick.
