Went to see my heart throb, Alyson Hannigan ( Willow in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"; Michelle the "flute girl" in the "American Pie"Trilogy ) in her first starring role - "Date Movie." It has to be one of the worst movies ever made. I felt sick and sorry for Aly having to endure that humiliation. Thank God that the critics have been for the most part kind and sympathetic to her ( and the rest of the cast ) for this abomination and put the blame squarely where it belongs - with the "writers." This thing will either be a blessing or a curse for her. A blessing if producers realize that she could be leading lady material with the right script or it might spell the end of her career if she gets stereotyped and associated with this kind of crap. And the ironic thing is that this could have been a very funny movie if the writers had a clue what satire is. Makes me want to try my luck at writing after witnessing that junk. Any other movies out there I should avoid? :angry:

Alyson is such a cutey and i hope she's able to break into more serious roles but i got to admit that flute thing had me rolling on the ground.
