Very cool mods. The back of your Rose Wood Parlor is quite attractive. I thought it was Walnut at first. Your Black Wood is awesome. It makes me want one.
So thats what mine would look like with a nice pickguard...very cool.. yours needs the orsino buffing as I did mine,, that back would jump out at you then...I have the same pins, but for now I like the sound with the Tusq bridge...where can you order those pickguards ? Robb
Yes, do the buffing thing FB! I want to see how that comes out in person without messing up one of my own guitars. B)
I have one of those Greven pickguards that would match my blackwood OM-03 that's on the way. Don't know if I want to put it on or not. FQMS carries them.
I wonder if Larrivee would sell the new ones they are using on their guitars?
I'll try and take some photos of my rosewood thats been buffed out tonight...robb
You can get the pickguard from FQMS for $20. The one on the Parlor is a Vintage 50's model - and the one on the Blackwood is a Vintage 30's model.
Love the side shot of your Blackwood! B)
