As an owner of a Canadian made Larrivee C09 (C denotes "custom"), I'm wondering if anyone knows why the re-issue.  Am I to infer there has been demand for the C09?

This is an incredible guitar.  I found mine used at a local Larrivee dealer.  I was looking for a Martin, but after being introduced to the Larrivee line, I was blown away by the sound, playability and craftsmanship/quality.  Love this guitar...

(C denotes "custom"),

C denotes cutaway, of the Florentine style.   V denotes cutaway of the Venetian style.

Yes, there has been demand for the florentine cut away style. After they quit making them and only offered the venetian style cut away they became collectable, which (I think) is why they started offering them again. Enough asking for the choice and they responded by giving a choice.
