Got them today and installed them. Took about a half hour. Broke a e string though restringing the set that was on it - they were only two weeks old. Oh well.

Those look really schweet on there!! Black and gold are a great combination.

Very nice!
I'm tempted to buy the violet chrome ones, Anyone has purchased these? I've only found one store that keeps them. They say it looks like nickel plating, which I like more than chrome or gold.

Pretty! :nice guitar:
Sorry for 900th question on Gotoh tuners, but will these work on my LV-03?

Not sure about all the different sizes of these darn gotoh's....
Just put some Delta 510s on my OMV-09. Soooo much nicer than the Pings. Or the Schallers - why they didn't go with Gotohs I'll never understand ($ I guess).

Nice looking tuners. In a different post I asked if washers came with the Gotoh 510 Contours. I received a set from LMI without washers. I have sent them an email, but don't expect a reply until Monday. For those of you that have installed the 510s did the washers come with the tuners or did your have to order them separately.
thanks bud
Didn't order mine yet, but LMI doesn't show the washers online in their pictures whereas Stew Mac does. If they are chrome, I did read in one post that someone preferrred the beveled washer that came with the Pings and used that instead of the flat one that come with the Gotohs. Hope that helps.
Are the gotoh's much heavier than the stock ping's? I want to replace the ping's on my new om-03mt but I don't want to add weight to the neck. Does anyone have any experience with the open back engraved tuners from larriveewearables.com? How about waverly tuners?
Hi,
did anybody change their tuners on a OM-02 ? (or on a OM-03), I think they probably have same specs.
Which models would fit ?
TIA :coffee :coffee :coffee :donut :donut :donut
My 510's came with flat washers but I used the Ping chrome beveled washers for contrast.

I did not think I would really like the black tuners, but after seeing them I changed my mind. Those look nice. :+1:
The contrast of the black tuners with the chrome washers really makes them pop.

They should have come with washers. LMI removes them from the packaging when they ship them out, so they must have forgotten to include them.
Just curious...how come nobody uses Grovers anymore? They were the only choice back in the 70's. both my Martin and NBN came with Grovers. They sure feel better than the Pings that are on the Larrivee.
Which Gotoh 510s are a drop in for an L-05? Mini or Midsized?
Thanks,
Jim

OK, what exactly have we got here?
(And where do we get them?)
So, looking at this page, (http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Tuners/Guitar,_solid_peghead_tuners/Gotoh_Tuners.ssc) what are you all putting on your Larrivee's, Minis or Midsize tuners?
Thanks, Dave
I have always used the midsize tuners. I don't care for the look of the mini. Too small for my taste.

I just installed midsize on my L-05MT. They are a drop-in fit and they look great.

The first picture look like gold tuners with ebony buttons. The second picture is the black chrome tuner/button with the admitted scavenge of the chrome Ping washers. Here are mine, they are silver tuners (I chose to match the silver inlay border on the headstock) with the ebony buttons on my LV-10.
The mini's work well for 12-strings. You may also want to keep an eye at the ratio of the tuners. a 21:1 ratio will be a slower tightening tuner compared to an 18:1. I chose the 21:1 ratio to get a slower response from the string as I tune.

Hi all. First post. Would those be what they are calling (COSMOS BLACK) as listed on the Stewart Mac site? I'm liking them and they should fit on my OM O5 perfectly.
Oops! I should have looked at LMI site first. The cosmos black Gotoh 510's on the Stewart Mac site are metal
buttons model # 7107-CB. looks like they should still fit though.
