Howie Day - Collide (what Guitar Does He Use)

I recently saw the Howie Day - Collide video and noticed the guitar he was playing look pretty sweet.  I was wondering if any of you guys could identify what it is since I couldn't really tell.  It looks like an AEF style Ibanez or a Guild but I could be totally wrong.

I haven't seen that video, but I've seen him on TV a few times and he always plays a Takamine.

In all the live venues and tapes of him, he's always had a Takamine, but on "Last Call with Carson Daily" last week he was playing a strange black guitar. I couldn't figure out what it was either.  Maybe it's the same one that everyone is talking about in the Collide video.
