I thought the Callaham saddles were one of the big 'upgrades' that the Bakersfield had over other Tele knock-offs.  And I thought that they were actually adjustable in some way besides one screw for two saddles.  But in looking at them up close on the Callaham site, it appears that they are 'fixed compensation' at least the two sides of the saddle per intonation screw.

Me, I like to fiddle around with different string diameters, and this almost always requires intonation adjustment across 6 strings, not just in pairs.  Also not being a traditionalist, I would love to see a 6 saddle bridge available on the Bakersfield.  And a pup arrangement like the Epiphone Nighthawk Custom, but that's just me.  I understand the desire to sell something that looks and feels familiar.

Are you commenting on the fact that the SX tele bridge has six saddles?

While I understand what unclrob is saying about the barrel saddles and tele tones, I've heard some nice Tele tones coming out of American Standard style Teles (with six individual saddles) and G&L's, which all use the six saddle bridge designed by Leo Fender...

We all hear different.I have had a tele with the 6 saddle's and it just didn't sound right too me.
