Biggest surprise - and a pleasant one - has been the volume from the smaller box. Other than some scratches on the pick guard and a dimple on the rosewood binding, it looks new. The tone, the balance, the articulation, not too bright - all a tribute to JCL's craftsmanship. And finally can distinguish between flamed and quilted.
