I was at the second Orillia concert. It was the thrill of a lifetime for me as he has always been one of my favourites. Unlike his audience, personally speaking, his music has never aged. There were enough fans in the crowd to make it a lively show- it wasn't just the casino people taking a break. Mark Goldenberg is the lead guitarist. According to the programme they were selling at the concert, JB first heard him on Linda Rondstadt's Mad Love album. He has played on JB's last 4 albums. They had one of the guitar techs come out and play on 'The Naked Ride Home' because JB said it didn't sound right without the extra guitar.

Hey Bucky, I'm glad to hear that the second show did not disappoint.  And thanks for filling in the name of his guitar player.  I should have paid more attention...

It was a great experience wasn't it.

By the way, what is the scoop on the other JB (your namesake) coming to T.O. this fall. Nov. 19 is the date shown on the Margaritaville website.

I didn't know that "the other JB" was on his way to T.O.   The last couple of times he's been here have been outdoors at Ontario Place, which won't be hosting any outside shows at that time of year.  It looks like he'll be playing the Air Canada Centre.  A bit of a big barn for this type of show, if you ask me...
