Bridge Pin Replacement

Hi all,

I need to replace the bridge pins on a 70's Japanese copy of a Gibson Dove. Options are Boxwood, Ebony and Tusq. Most things I read say it doesn't really make much difference what pins you use but anyone have any preferences or other suggestions on material?

Guess that means ebony and turquoise. I know I am probably throwing money away but I will like the way they look.

Oh yes, I have been drooling over these. All of these. I changed my mind and went with bone/abalone. As soon as they arrive I am bringing it in for a set up.

I'm only half ashamed to say I bought a set of
the "buffalo horn" bridge pins from Bob for a Gibson I have
so I could sing like a singing cowboy...

they are really pretty, weird to sand (a little big)
because it's like they're made out of fingernails,
and they didn't change the sound of the guitar any
or, sadly enough, my singing
