I lost mine and was wondering if anyone had an extra they'd be willing to pass along.

Which style do you need?

I'm not sure, Rob. I know the one I had was an odd looking thing, crooked and twisted to fit up inside my guitar (D-03 BW).

Rob asks because they changed quite a while back thus depending on approx age of your guitar.

Do you remember what it looked like? The one on left or right  :?

Rob's a nice fellow.  He won't even let me pay the postage.  I'm moved by such random kindness.  The world needs more of it!

Wow, Rob is indeed THE MAN! I got the truss rod tool in my mailbox today.  Thank you so much, Rob.

Question: Do I need to loosen up my strings before making an adjustment?  My tech/buddy setup my Larrivee recently and the action is a bit lower than I like.  He told me to ever-so-slightly turn the truss rod up toward me.  I'm a little nervous.

Leave the guitar tuned to pitch. You fit the tool between the D and the G string, you may need to tilt it too one side or the other to fit the wrench then gentle 1/8 to 1/4 inch turn to loosen the rod towards the low E string.

I made the adjustment like you said, Rob.  Turned very slight the first time.  My G string buzzed a bit afterward.  I turned it again (slightly) and got rid of the buzz.  I think it did raise the action a little, and it seems like some of the "oomph" is back, but I still think it sounds a bit muddy and unfocused overall.  I'm not sure what to do to get it cleared up. But I do feel like a big shot for making that truss rod adjustment.  I'd never done that before.
:cheers

The action appears higher due to more relief in the fingerboard. If you just had it setup it may be time to bring it in for a checkup.Cold weather, more humidity, string guage and brand change's,if you replaced the nut and saddle and many other things should be checked a couple of weeks after the setup as stuff settle's.

I got it out this morning for some playing and I think things might have settled a bit overnight; it feels and sounds better today.  Is that possible? for things to settle overnight like that?  Wood, steel, pressure, all very odd things working together, huh?

Yep,the cozmo's cozmic connumdum at work.
