Replacement Ping Tuner Buttons

Hey, guys -

This is my first post ( ), and I know this has probably been answered, but, I'm about to purchase a new D-09, and the first thing I wanna do (and probably the only, besides adding a pickup) is change the chrome buttons out for some ebony ones.  I just really think that sets off the look of the headstock.

Welcome - and congratulations on your D-09.  Interestingly, I think you might find it comes with Schaller tuners and not Pings.  My 2008 D-09 came with Schallers, and recently it became apparent that Larrivee have switched away from Pings altogether.  It might be either or that comes on your guitar.  Either way, this thread should offer some answers.  Ping buttons are not easy to find as far as I am aware, and from discussions on here, these seem to be the best made alternative, although expensive.

My first good guitar was my D-09.  It was an absolute monster of a guitar, awesome sound.  Unfortunately, it opened my eyes to good guitars, but I ultimately fell for smaller bodied ones and sold it recently.
