Forum Upgrade

Hey folks,
We know it's been a bit of a rough ride lately. OK, for a while now.
Apologies for that.
The site is currently under (re)construction. As many of you know we had some down time yesterday as renovations were attempted. Ultimately that upgrade was unsuccessful and so another stab at it will take place next week. Yes, that will very likely mean another outage.
In the meantime it has been restored to its previous (could-be-better) state.
Until then, my recommendation
PLAY YOUR GUITARS!

Well this is different, a whole new look.

Is this whole new thing at all related to not being able to use Tapatalk anymore, was kinda handy to use when I was away from my laptop or travelling to be able to read the Larrivée forum?

Question for those in the know; I seem to remember the time stamp orientation from years past was always a little off, and I just posted something at 06:07 AM EST but it clocked it as 01:07 AM. Seems like that would from somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. What's up with this?

I like the new feature with the alerts when someone quoted you, etc.  Nice touch.

Not sure if I should post this here or somewhere else but...

Each time I'm on the main page and I click on a thread ... over there on the right side of the page -> ....  I get taken to the end of the thread.  And that's for threads I've never clicked on before.  So I have to scroll up to the top.  OK, ok, minor inconvenience but it happens each time and I figure it should not.

The new forum look is far too difficult to grasp. The yellow version is awful, the alternative black version is better but still problematic. Reminds me of the MBA grad students who advised me to hang a cage of turkeys in the front of my retail store in order to attract attention. (true story) We opted out of that program.
