L-05QMH Limited Edition for a Dread

It is likely I will just make a trade at the local shop and get a new one but I though I would check with the forum community.

I'm looking for a Martin HD-28V or HD-28VE.

Thanks to a great deal of serendipity I just picked up a Larrivee C-10 so I'm looking to trade my Limited Edition L-05.
This guitar is in mint condition, I only got it a few months ago.

• Limited Edition #48 of 50 Long and McQuade Anniversary Editon, comes with the certificate
• Gorgeous Quilted Mahogany back and sides
• Vine inlay headstalk
• Abalone rosette

I also have a Martin DCX1E.  She has a few dings which I can photo and post if anyone is interested.  This model has a cutaway and comes with a very nice sounding Fishman Classic 4 pick up system installed.

I'm willing to consider a variety of deals involving these two guitars and cash.

I understand your current position, but my opinion is that you should not get rid of this guitar.  I own # 37, and it is a stunning instrument in all areas.  I almost sold this one after a year due to conflicting priorities (read my S.O.), but I now know that this one will be in my stable permanently.  The kids will be getting this one...

I've distracted myself by printing dozens of tabs to work on. 
In the end I feel like the only thing I want to round out my collection is a Rosewood Dread (Larrivee D-60 MR or Martin HD-28V) and there is significant duplication in having the L-05 and the C-10.

I don't plan any rash decisions but for the right deal I would have to consider it.
So far I do not sell or trade, I just add to the collection

The L&M Christmas flyer from 2006 had this guitar at $2600 ($C).

At $1500 I would let her go.

FWIW, I have one of these 50 Limired Editions, and it is a sweet deal.  If you're thinking about pulling the trigger, you'll be getting a great guitar that's somewhat unique.

Dan- that is some sweet-looking mahogany ! I haven't read any description of the sound. Could you just briefly explain it ? Also, is it the Martin only that you'd consider in trade (or cash, obviously) ? If I had that guitar & it sounded as good as it looks, I would never get rid of it. Also for the reasons others have stated. But if your heart is set on that Martin, you'll make somebody a very happy person (if it sounds as good as it looks )
