Pick ups, likes, dislikes, problems and joys past and present!

I recently heard a pick up I really like and I have heard a lot pickups with pizo's and mics and combinations , two, three, or more pick-up systems in a guitar. I myself am a sunrise and trace amulet person. I still feel one of the best combinations for my taste. Rare earth fishman's LR baggs have all fallen short in my mind, especially with mic placement and stability. I just heard a pic-up backed by Pierre Bensusan - Barbera Transducer systems.
