D-60 Review!

Quoted from the High Desert Guitars website, a dealer in Santa Fe:

"We recently recieved a pair of the new Bluegrass Larrivees', a D50 and a D60. I was just comming to grips with what great guitars they were when my friend Bill Hearne of the legendary country/folk duo Bill and Bonnie Hearne came in to the store. Bill picked up the D60 and proceeded to rip it up. (Bill is a kind of reserved player when he's playing with Bonnie, but when he lets loose you don't want be standing to close cause it will knock you flat on your *ss)."

"When Bill quit playing, he turned around to find a half dozen awe-struck customers staring at him. He grinned from ear to ear and bellowed in that window rattling voice of his, "My God! I love this guitar!" Right there he decided to retire his much loved, battle scared Santa Cruz Tony Rice. The D60 has been to all of Bill's gigs since, but he was especially proud to take it when he went to sit in with his good friend Lyle Lovett, at the Palo Solari theater. It's good to see Bill in love with his guitar again."
