Tinariwen - Amassakoul. Anyone heard this album? It's their second. Legendary poet guitarists and soul rebels from the southern Sahara desert. That's what it says on the back cover anyway. Great stuff!!!

Hi Rusty - There are similarities but beyond the obvious comparisons, this is much different stuff. Not as dark and more ... dreamy. Hard to describe. I usually don't much like listening to a foreign language but this is really neat music. The guitar work is stellar and really different than anything I've ever heard.
