Title: David Iannone
Post by: webberink on November 04, 2016, 11:35:16 PM
David Iannone of Morgan Guitars (JCL's last traditional apprentice) builds some of the finest guitars out of Brazilian rosewood.  Have a look at some of the latest of his BZ he is working with and the intriguing story of its salvage.

Gorgeous wood and story.   If only he was certificated to ship them to the USA...

Jason is the one that told me he could not ship them to the US, but that was a while back.  I have sent him an email asking again...

George:

I live in Kansas and I own a Morgan.  I know that there is someone in Topeka that owns one, and David even went to his wedding.  There is Notable Guitars and E.M. Shorts that I believe are dealers.  You may wish to check this out.

I did that and they did not have any Brazilian Morgans.  New CITES regulations make it difficult to get them certificated to ship across the Canadian/US border...

P. S.  I did recently acquire a Larrivee D-10 Brazilian, and it is Awesome!
